Session Recap 2/23/12

Characters present:
Brugor
Alembic
Vaclav
Anselm

You had returned to town to buy more oil to fight the creature with. Upon returning to the lair, you searched the room above the barracks and found a secret door. Brugor failed to find the falling rock trap and was knocked unconscious by it when he opened the door. Anselm revived Brugor with his cure light wounds. You found the skeletal remains of two Elves wearing rusted chain mail and helmets. Each one was holding a two handed sword that glowed with continual light. You proceeded up the stairs on the far end of the room and entered a smaller room that held barrels and a crystal statue of an Elf. Upon tipping one the the barrels over, the statue came to life and attacked Vaclav. You managed to defeat the statue, shattering it into small pieces. You found that the barrels contained ancient ruined arrows. You the proceeded to the door to the pit where you sent Brugor in to pour oil on the stairs. You then took the rock from the trap and dropped it into the water below. The creature started up the stairs. A hit from a sling shot made a small version of the creature split off and follow the larger one up the stairs. You managed to kill the two creatures with burning oil before they could reach you. After finding nothing else of interest, you returned to town with your tale. You were rewarded with 500 gold for removing the threat of the creature and clearing out the Goblin's lair.

Each person receives 126.75 gold and 1111 Exp.

Session Recap 2/16/12

Characters Present:
Thimble
Aldaric
Vaclav
Alembic

After turning over your prisoners and returning the body of the lad to his family you rested in town for a couple of days and restocked your supplies before returning to the lair.  Upon arrival you found 1 goblin at the bottom of the stairs which you dispatched in short order.  After sliding down the pole to the next room arrows started flying through the dragon's mouth hitting Alembic once. You dove through the opening and killed the two goblins in the next room and garnered the attention of the two goblins on the bridge.  After defeating those two and questioning the survivor, you proceeded across the bridge and killed two more goblins in the room on the other side.  You shouted insults to see if any goblins were in the room above but that brought the six goblins from the barracks below.  Alembic put them all to sleep.  After securing your prisoners and relieving them of their weapons you questioned one of them but gained little more information about the creature in the secured chamber.  You decided to check out this creature for yourselves.  upon encountering the creature Alembic and Vaclav were stricken with fear and ran from the chamber.  Aldaric and Thimble also beat a hasty retreat and barred the door.  You returned to the town to find out more about this creature and turn over your prisoners to the local authorities.  You rested for a couple more days and decided to go back and face this creature once more.  You threw several flasks of oil at it and burned it some before it was almost within mele range, whereupon you all exited the chamber and barred the door again.  You went back to town to resupply and rest again.

Everyone receives 45.42 Gold and 237 Exp.
Thimble receives 18.17 Gold and 118 Exp

Session Recap 2/2/12

Characters Present:
Brugor
Aldaric
Vaclav
Alembic

You were having a few drinks in the tavern when a friend of the Erhurr family entered. He said that he had gone to their farm to visit them and found the door to the house broken open and the place ransacked. You decided to investigate. Upon arrival you found the place as the friend had described and what appeared to be small humanoid tracks leading toward the gully where the old goblin lair used to be before the townspeople had banded together and destroyed the bridge that spanned it. You went back to town to pick up some more supplies before returning to follow the tracks. Near the entrance to the lair you spotted a couple of goblin archers up in a tree. You killed one of them and tied the other to the tree after questioning him. You followed the stairs downward into an empty room with another set of stairs leading to a pole that went down to the next room below where you saw four goblins awaiting your arrival. After a lengthy battle you dispatched three of the goblins and subdued the fourth. Once you gathered in the room arrows started flying into the room from the next room where two more goblin archers were lying in wait. After killing those two goblins and securing your second prisoner you proceeded through the next room and onto the bridge where you lowered Vaclav down to the bottom of the gully.  Vaclav found the body of a boy who had died there quite some time ago. You bring the body back up and put it in the room with the two dead goblin archers intent upon returning it to town for burial. You made your way across the bridge. In the room on the other side you noticed a small shaft in the ceiling and a spiral staircase near the far wall. Brugor climbed up the shaft and was pulled into the room above by one of the goblins waiting there. Brugor managed to survive the ordeal long enough for Vaclav to make it into the room and get knocked unconscious after killing one of the goblins and Alembic to arrive and put the rest of them to sleep. Alaric climbed up and cast his cure light wounds on Vaclav. You entered the chief's room and found the Erhurr family's clothing and a small chest containing some coin, a potion and a scroll. You decided to return to town to rest and have the potion identified. Aldaric was able to identify the scroll as a Bless prayer.

It cost 50 gold to identify the potion as fire resistance and another 50 gold to heal Brugor

Each person receives 312 Exp and 123.13 Gold
